Northern Tails Grooming LLC is a new Fairbanks business combining expert dog grooming with professional pet photography, founded and operated by Nick and Jana.

Nick brings over three years of dedicated dog grooming experience and a genuine passion for working with animals, providing gentle, skilled care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Jana adds more than 15 years of experience running a successful portrait photography studio and is now fulfilling a longtime goal of expanding her expertise into pet photography — capturing the personalities of pets of all kinds, not just dogs.

Together, Nick and Jana have built Northern Tails Grooming as a partnership grounded in creativity, care, and community. Their shared mission is to help pets look, feel, and shine their very best while giving Fairbanks families a trusted local business they can count on.
